The Food
Our food is simple, sustainable, seasonal, fresh and uncomplicated and rustic with a European influence. The menu changes monthly and in conjunction with the seasons. All our ingredients are sourced as locally as possible and we monitor modes of transport for delivery.
Wine List
The wine list has a choice of over forty wines. We choose to constantly source and represent small independent winemakers who work closely with indigenous grape varieties and soil types to produce wines that truly reflect the style of the region from which they come. We also aim to source as many organic, biodynamic and carbon neutral wines as possible. The list includes a selection of wines from Europe exploring a range of grape varieties and wine making techniques.
The international wine list is extensive and classic in style and is keenly matched to the menu with a range of aperitifs, sparkling wines and champagnes, half bottles, red, white and dessert wines and some exciting wine specials; offering something for everyone from the novice to the connoisseur.
Training
We pledge to fully train 10 young adults each year in the eco friendly restaurant trade. Selected from the local community, this group will be offered a ground breaking opportunity not only to learn all aspects of the hospitality industry from leading industry experts, but how to run a kitchen that is environmentally aware. Respect for all the elements involved and awareness of the resources used in the provision of food is central to our training ethos.
